Beginning in 2001, membership has been required for participation in GEMELA conferences and elections. Dues are $50 for two years. Dues also help to support a graduate award for travel to the conference. Dues must be paid in order for proposals to be accepted for the program and should be sent by the deadline set for submission of abstracts; usually by April 1.

The Graduate Student rate is $25 for a 2-year membership.
