The posting deadline for CFPs for the MLA 2020 convention is coming up, February 2018.

The association will be collaborating with the 16th and 17th Century Spanish and Iberian Theater Forum on one CFP titled “Performing Childhood.”
Members of GEMELA interested in proposing an additional CFP, please let Rosie Hernández (GEMELA VP, rosieher@uic.edu) know ASAP; we have one guaranteed session (in addition to the above-mentioned collaboration), but in our experience, additional sessions submitted under the banner of an allied organization also have a very good chance of being accepted.
Rosie Hernández would submit the CFP under the GEMELA association banner if you send her the following information
in the indicated format:
Calls for papers may be a maximum of 35 words in length, including
session title, submission requirements, and submission deadline.

Please be aware that all participants in GEMELA sponsored panels must be current members of the association.
