The Association has now posted two calls for papers for the Modern Language Association Convention to be held January 3-6, 2019 in

Chicago, Illinois.The calls for papers can be found on the MLA website under Allied Organizations. The call for papers will also be submitted to the AHA which is collaborating with the MLA on linked sessions.

One note of clarification; the panel titled “Early Modern Spanish

Women and the Claim of Authority” should have included “Colonial.” My

mistake; please do not hesitate to submit a proposal if your work is

centered on Colonial women authors.
